Trees dripping color

Burrows lined and nuts hidden

Crisp chill in the air

Some like warm breezes

Bursting petals peepers but

I choose chill sunsets

Rich colors in the green

Pumpkin spice ubiquitousness

Celebrate autumn

When the sumac turns

We are reminded of death

And the coming cold

Open our eye’s hearts

I am thankful for this earth

Cycle of seasons

When I imagine

Days and seasons unfold

I’m in awe of God

Our time here is brief

Enjoy color texture view

Cultivate deep friends

Infinite possibilities

Earth chosen from so many

We can be thankful

Spirit yet calls us

Open our hearts to perceive

God’s infinity
