Island Life, Vol. 1

Island life is full immersion into nature – if we let it.  It can be incredibly joyous or an equal measure of lonely.  It is always quirky and a bit unfinished.  Hmmmm….  Like Haiku from Shiloh and Me!

Island time living

Still fills hearts and souls with awe

We might never leave

What draws us to this

Rock set upon waves and sand

Hearts by joy captured

Each new day finds us

More in love than before with

This rock on water

Island life teaches

Order within the chaos

Beauty with lonely

My soul seeks the shore

Like salmon I will return

To my sand and waves
